چکیده

Abstract Background This study evaluated the clinical and radiological results of a new transosseous suture-button fixation technique for anterior glenoid fractures. Methods From March 2017 to May 2021, 23 patients with fractures were treated technique. Demographic data, active shoulder function, several scores after minimum 6 months. Fracture reduction button placement assessed via computed tomography, while fracture healing onset or progression glenohumeral osteoarthritis X‑rays. Results Overall, 57% had relevant concomitant intra-articular injury. Clinical follow-up was performed 22 (19 male, 3 female) at 15 months (6.0–34.5) surgery. The average Constant Score 83.2 ± 16.7 points (93.4% 18.8% vs. contralateral side), Rowe Score, 90.7 10.4 points, Melbourne Instability Shoulder (/100), 88.3 14.5 Western Ontario Index (%), 82.9 16.7, Subjective Value 86.9 16.1. Average range motion 171.4 ° 22.7 flexion (contralateral side, 180 0 °; p = 0.11) 170.5 23.6 abduction 179.6 2.1; 0.07). No complications occurred no revision surgery required. postoperative step-off averaged 1.55 1.05 mm (0–4 mm). Radiological 19 showed consolidation in all cases, without secondary dislocation heterotopic ossification. There sign hardware impingement dislocation. new-onset cases (15.8%). We found correlation between signs osteoarthritis. Conclusion Anterior safely reproducibly novel arthroscopic double-button-suture technique, but long-term are still needed.

Transosseous suture fixation of proximal humeral fractures.

BACKGROUND The optimal treatment of displaced fractures of the proximal part of the humerus remains controversial. We evaluated the long-term functional and radiographic results of transosseous suture fixation in a series of selected displaced fractures of the proximal part of the humerus. METHODS Over an eleven-year period, a consecutive series of 188 patients with a specifically defined dis...

Arthroscopic suture fixation of tibial eminence fractures.

Tibial eminence avulsion fractures are relatively rare injuries, most frequently occurring in skeletally immature patients. Screws or suture fixation can be used, with each offering different potential advantages. The purpose of this retrospective study was to evaluate the clinical outcomes of a suture fixation technique for displaced tibial eminence avulsion fractures using the Rotator Cuff Gu...

Arthroscopic Posterior Glenoid Fracture Fixation Using Knotless Suture Anchors

Shoulder instability after a posterior glenoid rim fracture is rare and potentially difficult pathology to treat. Operative techniques often involve a large dissection to view the fragments resulting in local soft tissue injury. Internal fixation is often achieved with interfragmentary screws; however, this may not be possible with small or multifragmentary fracture patterns. We describe an art...

Arthroscopic repair of glenoid fractures using suture anchors.

Anterior glenoid fractures associated with glenohumeral instability are normally treated with open fixation of the fragment. However, recent technical development enables this procedure to be performed under arthroscopic control using screws or even suture anchors if the fragment is small enough. We developed a unique method of stabilizing a larger fragment with suture anchors and the use of a ...
